3GPP issue playing in Windows Movie Maker and Media Center
Hi, I installed the newest codecs package for my new laptop in order to have sound for the 3gpp files that I transferred from my Android phone. The codecs package worked nicely so I now have sound when I view the file using Media Player, however the 3gp files will not play in media center. Also, I can not see the files in Windows Movie Maker either. The space where it shows the video progress on the right side just has gray space that seems to play at fast forward with no audio or video. I really don't know what I'm doing here, so please help me understand.

RE: 3GPP issue playing in Windows Movie Maker and Media Center
most likely cause is that you have not installed the 64bit addon yet.

However for amateurs like myself the Major Geeks website was confusing. I was unsure what was advertisement and what was actual info from their website. Way too much stuff for someone like me. But I can now play the 3gp files in Media Center and Media Player. Do you know how to get them to play so that I can make movies in Windows Live Movie Maker??? I had no idea this would be so tedious, but it seems i am nearing the end. Thanks for your help. |
