64bit application update
The current x64Components do not recognize the new Win8codecs.
Extract the attached Settings64.exe. and replace the installed exe with the new one. This will be corrected in the next official x64Components addon release. [attachment=1307] Version 353 of the x64Components has been released to illuminate this issue. |

As for advice, I have none. It depends on your playback needs. The Windows 8 codecs (32bit only) do not have Haali, FFDshow or any Gabest filters so it is quite limited in versatility but may be all that you need. |
