AVI and MP4 Issues

Hi there,

I upgraded to version 3.4 this morning and have been having a little trouble with a video files since as there seems to be a few new settings since my previous version which was 3.1.9 I think. Everything had been working perfectly so hopefully someone can help me out.

Anyway, I have no problems with any MKV files at all.

However with AVIs I am getting no picture and only stereo audio on WMP12. VLC player plays them perfectly, video and audio.

As for the couple of MP4 files I have, the video plays correctly but again I only get stereo audio when it should be DD5.1.

All had been working fine up until I updated today so I presume its only a matter of finding the correct settings but since there are a number of changes I can not simply use the old settings I had.

Any help would be most appreciated.

On the SWAP TAB...
For the AVI files, disable the DMO codecs
For the MP4 files, disable the Microsoft Video decoder
