RE: About Icaros
If you are also using the Shark007 codecs?... this can be the cause for upside down thumbs.
v320, when released, should correct it. |

RE: About Icaros
Combining two different versions of the same thumbnail handler should certainly be avoided.
If you wish to test 1.2.0 or other new releases of Icaros, before the update is included in Shark's Codecs, then it's highly recommended to disable the current version of Icaros via the Config tab in the Settings Application first. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

Have you tried forcing the rebuild of the thumbnails by using the Disk Cleanup Tool to removed old Thumbnails? Startmenu\Accessories\System Tools\Disk Cleanup click OK after it scans your drive... a window pops up select ALL checkboxes click OK - Delete Files? - click OK reboot browse the folders |

RE: About Icaros
Is this happening for just a few files or a lot?
Could you provide a sample of one of the affected files? Follow these guidelines for sample creation: Open the Settings Application and go to the Misc TAB. From here, drag n drop the file onto the upper text field and click "create" to cut a 40 MB sample of the troubled file, upload the sample to http://mediafire.com. Place the download URL in your post. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |
