Icaros & offset
Hello,
I'm new in thi forum. I'm French and sorry for my English. I'm very intersted by icaros. It's so efficient and simple!!! Thank you for this software. But, I would like to know if it could be possible to tune the offset by "secondes" and not in "%". Thank's a lot. |

RE: Icaros & offset
Hi FCB38,
Welcome to the forum ^_^ (04-26-2012 11:58 AM)FCB38 Wrote: But, I would like to know if it could be possible to tune the offset by "secondes" and not in "%". Yes... it would be possible, but I initially decided not to use time or 'number of frames' to control the offset, because it would not always return a proper result. As an example, let's say you set an offset of 10 seconds. Whenever you have a file with a duration less than 10 seconds, Icaros would have to return the last frame instead, which would very likely be a black frame. Any particular reason, why you want to use seconds instead of %? :-) OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

I use Sony Vegas Pro to create movies (my children and others things). My final project is in mkv container. My movies are created in a special way; after 2 secondes I put the title of the movie (like "Summer holidays", "The new bicycle of William", ...) and a cool picture extract of my Camcorder. Then if I can see the thumbnail of 2nd second, I can see the Title of the movie. That's all!!! I hope that it's clear for you. Perhaps you could help me... Regards. |

RE: About Icaros
@mustdie
Thanks for the report. Missed a check ^_^ I've uploaded new builds, and updated the links in my previous post. Please re-download, and try again. @FCB38 In a specific case like that, it would indeed be useful. I'm not sure how many users would benefit from such a feature. I will consider the options. RE: About Icaros
@Lenmaer & mustdie
Good to hear everything is in order. ^_^ @mkr10001 Hmm... Icaros is active and IcarosConfig didn't warn about any missing dependencies? Has the 'Always show icons, never thumbnails' option in the 'Folder Options' -> 'View -> 'Advanced settings' been selected by any chance? OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

Thanks for new version!
I have one thing to suggest: you should put required dlls with portable version. Otherwise it won't be a real portable application. |
