Advanced settings with subtitles in almost all video formats and MCP use possible
#3
More setting options to complement the first article:
These settings are recommended when MCP is not required.

With these settings, you have to renounce the use of Media Control but the subtitle display is also possible.

3. SHARK007 Advaced Codecs 4.5.2 settings with LAV Video Decoder

3.1 Settings with LAV Video Decoder and MS Video Decoder for WMC Live-TV

The LAV decoder settings go as far as the "Shark007 Suggested settings" with only minor changes, to play audio
in the correct (preset) language and subtitles in many video formats.
In Windows 7/8 x64 always need to install and configure 32 Bit and 64 Bit Advanced Codecs!
PS: Here are the largely suggested LAV 0.61.1 Video, Audio and Splitter settings:

3.2 Settings with LAV Video Decoder also for WMC Live-TV
These settings are different from the 3.1 settings only by following changes in 32 and 64 Bit settings:
"SWAP =>Disable Microsoft's Video Decoder"
Furthermore the subtitle display can be used for even more video formats than with the above settings.
These LAV decoder settings use LAV Video Decoder instead of MS Video Decoder for WMC Live-TV.
Subtitles also in TS, M2TS and MP4 are possible, but you may have problems with WMC Live TV (see post #1).

To complete the my settings here are the settings for the Windows 7/8 Standard Codecs.
Also LAV or PowerDVD decoder for WMC live TV would be possible if someone needs.
Unfortunately, the preset audio language does (not yet) works with the LAV Splitter and LAV Audio.

4. SHARK007 Standard Codecs 1.9.4 settings with LAV Video Decoder
- In the Standard Codecs, there is little "dependencies" between the different tabs,
these screenshots are arranged in logical order.

The Shark007 Standard Codecs are suitable for Windows 7/8 x86 and x64 (32 and 64 Bit).
In Windows 7/8 x64 always need to install and configure 32 Bit and 64 Bit Standard Codecs!
PS:
With the LAV audio decoder, there may be problems with WMC Live TV,
then do not "Disable Microsoft's Audio Decoder" under "Windows SWAP"!

1.2 Advanced Codecs 4.3.2 Settings with FFDShow DXVA Decoder and LAV Video Decoder for WMC Live TV
These settings correspond largely to the 1.1 settings , but they are for WMC Live TV with LAV Video Decoder and
the Advanced Codes 4.3.2 optimized to the extent that Live TV run without crashes in Windows 7/8/8.1 x64 WMC
and FFDshow DXVA Video decoder can be used for M2TS and TS videos with H.264/AVC.
PS: To the LAV Filters settings, see the screenshots above in the post!
Advantages over 1.1:
- The subtitles, FFDShow Video Decoder and MCP use even with TS and M2TS
- FFDShow Video Decoder also at original DVDs or DVD structures in WMC => Movies
Disadvantages compared to 1.1. :
- Not recommended for Advanced Codecs from 4.3.3 and higher
- Other disadvantages see problems associated with LAV Video Decoder for WMC live TV in post #1

Tip:
If you can not disable the MS Video/Audio Decoder under "SWAP", see 1.3 Settings with PowerDVD Decoder!
The Advanced Codecs 4.3.2 are the only ones H.265/HEVC and VP9/WEBM (right) are working now and WMC
Live TV and FFDShow DXVA decoder for H.264/AVC still run fine.

2.2 Settings with FFDShow Video Decoder and LAV Video Decoder for WMC Live TV
These settings correspond largely to the 2.1 settings, but they are optimized for WMC Live TV with LAV Video Decoder
and Advanced Codes 4.5.0 and above so that Live TV runs in Windows 7/8/8.1 x64 WMC without issues.
PS: To the LAV video decoder settings, see the screenshots above in the post!
Advantages over 2.1. :
- The subtitles, FFDShow Video Decoder and MCP use even with TS and M2TS
- FFDShow Video Decoder also with DVDs or DVD structures in WMC => Movies

Tip:
If you can not disable the MS Video/Audio Decoder under "SWAP", see 1.3 Settings with PowerDVD Decoder!
