Annoying Taskbar Icons

Whenever I play a video, I get a ton little icons (Namely FDDShow and DirectVobSub) in my system tray. I've tried disabling the FDDShow icon in the Win7Codec settings, but it doesn't work.

Can anybody help me get rid of these annoying icons??

On the Misc TAB are checkboxes that disable the ffdshow icons.
I tested them, and the checkboxes work OK.

the DirectVobSub icon canot be hidden.
If subs are not needed, you can set this to 'No Subtitles' on the Config TAB or
select the ffdshow decoder for h264 and subs will use ffdshow instead of DirectVobSub.
