Audio out of sync for mkv files
Hello,
I have 3.5.2 installed but I observed the same isue also in 3.6.1. I have Shark suggested settings, win7 x64, Intel HD Graphics on P620 and I'm using QuickSync in FFDShow for hardware acceleration with subtitles. Whenever I start an mkv the audio is synchronized with the video but if I pause the movie and then resume or I ffwd to another moment in the movie, I get audio out of sync. I have disabled lav audio and sound is managed by ffdshow. Please advice on how to solve this issue. This is only happening with mkv files the rest is working perfect (avi,iso,mp4). Regards, IM |

RE: Audio out of sync for mkv files
I wouldn't use it but P620 even if SandyBridge is not powerfull enough for 1080p movies.
Update: I have finaly make it work. I left your default settings unchanged - meaning using LAV decoder, and I've only selected Intel QuickSync as hardware decoder. Everything shows fine ...BUT only when the window of mce is not in full screen. If I go in full screen there is no image or sound. If I'm exiting full screen and go to a smaller window of mce I get video and audio perfectly syncronized, with subtitles and I can see that dxva is working (CPU load 7-10%). This is only happening with mkv 1080p, my TV only has max resolution 1366x768. Do you have any idea here? |
