Bit Streaming AC3 for AVI files

This is a bit of a mystery to me. I am able to bitstream for MKV and MP4 files, however AVI files are not bitstreaming. I have tested multiple files and if the extension is AVI, bitstreaming fails.

I also notice that the AC3 filter icon in the task bar does not appear for AVI files also, I am assuming since the AC3 filter is not being called this is why I am not able to bitstream.

Any suggestions? I have tried to disable Windows Audio decoding, but it did not solve the problem. I also tried switching AVI filters from LAV to Haali to Gabest's, but this did not solve the problem either.

I just got it to work. I read another thread. Disable Windows DMO codecs on the SWAP tab FTW.
