CoreAVC benefits?
Hi,
what is the benefit of installing CoreAVC when the codec pack includes an .mkv splitter already? I run vista x64 as an htpc with WMC only for everything (TV, Film 720p mkv's) with an ATI HD2400 GPU |

RE: CoreAVC benefits?
Is it posted somewhere on this site that there is an advantage to using CoreAVC?
I support its use in my software simply because users requested the support. If UAC is turned OFF, please uninstall my software
Default UAC settings are required for my software to function properly |

RE: CoreAVC benefits?
Why should I NOT use the Haali splitter from the CoreAVC installation? Is yours better or will it cause conflicts with the pack?
Installation order don't matter from what I read, just as long the Haali splitter from CoreAVC is not installed, or uninstalled before installing the pack. |
