Fresh Install Win7. Minimum install mkv support.

Fresh install Windows 7 x86, this time I made an Image like a good boy.

Going to go with Sharks codecs. Mainly using the HTPC for mkv playback. I use my stand alone Blu-ray player for everything else.

I do like Media Center with Media Browser, seems to work well.

going to try an custom install this time, No AC3Filter, etc.

The MPC filter is the best to use then?

What would be the minimum install? I'm thinking just: Halli, FFDShow, the Directvobsub only.

Working beautiful. was very simple to get working. Installed: Halli, FFDShow, the Directvobsub and Gabest.

only thing I changed was to MPC filter.

Now if I can figure out how to get DTS thru HDMI on my Bros machine i'm set. Have not seen that DTS logo yet .
