HDR playback

Hi,

I want to ask if it possible to have my 4k MKvs played in HDR with Standard codecs in WMC 7 (64bit)?

My graphic Card and my TV can handle it but my TV never shows that he gets a HDR Signal, when I play a HDR movie in WMC.

Media Center cannot play HDR content.
Go to my Tools page and download and use a MPC-BE player that has madVR integrated.
Use that player.

Are there any special settings necessary or should it run per default?

There are no 'player' settings for HDR content. I do not have the hardware to test this personally.
If you find you need to make changes to madVR,
please followup here and I'll possibly add an HDR section to the Setup and usage page.
