Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I am pretty sure that I have a little bit of DivX residue in my system. I know I need to rebuild the OS but I do not have the time right now (just moved...). What is the best way to clean DivX from my system? I have uninstalled it but I am sure there is some crud left in the registry.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Install an installer app, reinstall divx, then use the installer to completely remove it?

I just tried reg-mech and it seemed to do well, found lots of DivX links that were broken. I removed them. Now time will tell if it worked...

Yeah, not a fan but if it works, it saves me a rebuild. If it does not, well, I guess I will have to do a rebuild sooner than I expected Smile

Well, I finally re-installed Windows 7. Good times. Now all works well. Thanks for the suggestions.

I realize re-installing an operating system to resolve playback issues is a MAJOR undertaking.
