Issue playing video file
Is there an issue here with the codecs or is the video just encoded poorly?
I get this error in Media Player Classic. The File plays just fine on my WinXP Pro (32-bit) SP3 system with K-Lite Mega 9.1.0 (with 9.1.4 Update) using MPC-HC 1.6.3.5551. RE: Issue playing video file
most likely the file is somewhat incomplete or damaged.
On the AVI TAB of the 64bit app, select the Gabest splitter. If doing so allows the file to play you can try to repair it using the dropbox on the Misc TAB to fix AVI files. The fixed file should work with the default splitter not requiring you to switch to gabests splitter. EDIT: I forgot to mention, the dropbox only works when you start the app without admin privileges. |
