Live TV fast forward / rewind not working when disable MS video decoder
A bit of background to the problem:
UK user running Windows 7 x64, with a BlackGold DVB-T card to view Freeview, with HD channels. The first problem: HD channels are jerky/judder every few seconds when using the Microsoft DTV codec in Media Centre. The 'fix': Selecting 'Disable Microsoft's Video Decoder' on the SWAP tab gives me smooth video (not sure which codec it is now using, but despite the warning, Live TV still works), but... The new problem: Fast Forward & Rewind no longer work (skip forward/backwards still works OK). Is there a solution for this? I really don't want to give up having fast forward & rewind in Live TV, especially the 2x forward speed with the fast audio which I use a lot, but the jerky image with the MS codecs drives me insane. Many thanks! |

It has not even reached 1.0 yet Hopefully as it develops further, your issue will be resolved. |
