MKV Files in Real Player?
When I try to play MKV files in Real Player, Real Player brings up a download box (if im playing 123.mkv, it'll try to DOWNLOAD 123.mkv from my drive for some reason - gives me the open/save as option) is this Shark007 (which, by the way rocks) or could this be my player...?

RE: MKV Files in Real Player?
Hi clanderson,
I personally suggest using MPC-HC player (32-bit) from Shark´s Tool page. After installing, open the player, set file association (View Menu -> Options / or just o) and everything should play. If there is no special feature holding you with Realplayer, switch the player
Windows 8 x64 / i5 750 / AMD HD 5850 / Benq XL 2410T / MPC-BE / Win7codecs |

The version of MPC-HC (or MPC-BE) from Shark's Tool page, has all internal codecs disabled, which allows it to utilize all the different codecs that comes with Shark's codecs. So basically, you can use any version of MPC-HC with Shark's software as long as the internal filters are disabled. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |
