If so, you need to also install the x64 Conponents, and then open the 64bit settings application once as an administrator If UAC is turned OFF, please uninstall my software
Default UAC settings are required for my software to function properly |

RE: MKV Thumbnails
Hmm, I have an issue where disabling the Media Foundation Splitter would make explorer.exe hover at 50% every three seconds while trying to show thumbnails for .mkv files. The computer itself freezes at the three-second mark and the process repeats (the progress bar as well). It's very wierd, and when unchecking the checkbox, the thumbnails show up. It's like disabling the MF splitter allows Directshow to do all the work finding the thumbnails, and then the MF splitter actually displays the thumbnails. Very wierd indeed. I'm running 2.5.7 of x32 codecs for Windows 7 Pro.
Furthermore, this doesn't necessarily get all the files to show thumbnails, even if they've been encoded the same way, which furthers the mystery. RE: MKV Thumbnails
I'm bumping a post here, from this thread's x64 counterpart, with a bit of new info on the thumbnail situation.
Can be found here --> Thumbnail Switching EDIT: I had momentarily forgotten that Shark007's Codecs, on 32-bit systems, was placed in the 'Win7Codecs' directory and not the 'Shark007' directory. A new version of the ThumbnailSwitch for 32-bit users can be downloaded here: ThumbnailSwitch.zip (Size: 1.66 KB / Downloads: 15)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
