(01-25-2012 07:38 PM)Shark007 Wrote: try updating your DRIVERS That's what I have. This is a new machine I built about 2 weeks ago. So drivers should be up to date as long as nothing came out within the last 2 weeks. I have another MKV video with an AC3 track with 3F2R/LFE as the channels and I hear the audio ok on that one as well. It looks like my issues at this point is the one MKV AC3 track with Stereo for the channels. I'm guessing I can re-encode that and modify the audio track (I'll have to check into that and see if that's possible). But I would like to see if I can get this working so I won't run into this again in the future. By the way... thanks for all your help so far .

I was innitially testing on a ATI system and experienced the 2 channel problem. As i was preparing v341 for release, I switched to an Nvidia based system and 2 channel worked and I made the statement quoted above. I have since returned to the ATI system for further testing and the issue still exists with 2 channel AC3 files. Multi-channel AC3 is not a problem. I have no solution at this time. |

Hopefully you'll be able to figure something out.

I updated to the latest versions you have available but I still can't hear audio on AC3 2-Channel MKV's. Maybe some sort of option can be added to the LAV Config on the audio tab so that I can disable that on a 2-channel AC3 audio track, but have it enabled for all other AC3 audio tracks? |

RE: MKV with AC3 Audio - No audio unless AC3Filter is enabled
I have no issues with ac3 (2channel) audio in mkv being sent to the receiver as Dolby Digital.
To test, all i did was press [Reset All] went to the audio tab and selected 'TruHD/DTS MA (digital Audio) HERE IS the sample I used for testing. |
