MKV with AC3 Audio - No audio unless AC3Filter is enabled

The audio will play but its very distorted, almost like its being played too loud.

try using AC3Filter
on the Config TAB, uncheck the box that is disabling AC3Filter
then click the button [AC3Filter config]
The window opens to the 'MAIN" TAB and you can select SPDIF in the upper left
