MP4 Won't Play In Win7MC 64bit: Shark 3.6
Hello,
I have recently gone to Shark 3.6. I completely reformatted my pc and installed the shark 3.6 codecs with 64 bit components fresh. This resolved an issue I had with avi's not being able to play 5.1 audio. I also had an issue with the later versions of ffdshow not being able to ac3 encode on the fly... see thread http://shark007.net/forum/Thread-Can-t-D...and-Closes I have resolved the ac3 encoding on the fly issue by going back to an older version of ffdshow. I now have everything working the way I want except for one thing... I cannot get Windows 7 Media Center 64bit to play mp4 files. It says codec missing. I have tried lav and ffdshow to no success. I have also tried disabling the M$ stuff under the swap tab. Does anyone have any idea why I can no longer play mp4's in Win7MC? If I can figure out this last problem, I will have everything working the way I want! Thanks, Doug |

RE: MP4 Won't Play In Win7MC 64bit: Shark 3.6
press [Reset All] in the 64bit app and then disable the Microsoft Video decoder on the SWAP TAB
