MP4V movie -Subs and soundtrack problems
I have an MP4V movie with .idx/.sub subtitles. It also has two soundtracks. The subs do not appear at all in WMP12 and I hear both soundtracks at once. I believe I have set up Shark007 (v 3.6.3) as advised to deal with this problem (disabled LAV audio on the audio Tab; chosen Haali splitter on the MPG~MP4 Tab; disabled MS video decoder on the Swap Tab) but to no avail - The Haali icon does not appear in the system tray to choose just one sound track and still no subs. I am using the 32 bit version of Shark007 for Win 7. I have attached an analysis of the file made using the Shark007 analyse button on the Misc Tab. Can you help?

RE: MP4V movie -Subs and soundtrack problems
the file has an incorrect extension.
change MP4V to AVI disable the DMO codecs on the SWAP TAB set Haali as the AVI splitter on the AVI TAB |

Some success - I now have just the one sound track and the Haali icon is showing. But still no subs unfortunately. I made no changes to Shark007 other than the ones recommended in your reply, so the settings I reported in my first post are still as they were - the settings you recommended have simply been added on. |

RE: MP4V movie -Subs and soundtrack problems
press [Reset All] and then re-apply the settings I suggested.
