Hello, I have a new laptop (Windows 10 64 bit) and have tried icaros 3.01 thru this version and am still having a problem that i can't seem to fix:

All Thumbnail offsets generate thumbnails that are at the beginning of the video. Does not matter what kind of video it is. It is ignoring the thumbnail offset setting both percentage or time stamp. ALL video thumbnails are at the beginning of the video.  Like I said this is a brand new laptop, comes with dual intel/nvidia 940mx descrete. Here is hardware/windows 10 version:

I was using Windows 10 Home 1703. I think 1703 came with .Net 4.6 built in. It just updated to the Fall Creators Update 1709. No change.

I have have not installed a lot programs. Here are screenshots of what I have:

Anyway I am stumped on how to fix this.  Thanks for the help!

Hi g25,

What does your settings look like in IcarosConfig? Specifically on the thumbnailing page.
And what kind of files are you thumbnailing? avi, mkv, mp4?

Ah, ok I see now that you mention it for some reason the settings were set to "custom" and did not include the file types for mp4,wmv, and a few others. I just changed the thumbnail preset to "Most Known" and now it is thumbnailing everything with proper offset. Strange that it installed and defaulted to a "custom" setting that included mkv and flv but not mp4 or wmv :/

Anyway thanks a LOT for replying as it was driving me crazy!

Hi Xanashi I was hoping this new version would resolve this issue in the cache rebuild - error message "Indexing completed - failed to access the database [0x10]" but it is still occurring.
Is this an error on any way on my part? I would very much appreciate resolving it.
