No MKV audio
OK, I have been trying to figure this out since yesterday. I am trying to play an MKV on WMC on the Xbox 360. It plays with perfect picture quality, but absolutely no audio. I have never had this problem before. The video plays fine on my computer.
I have the latest version of shark007 codecs on my 64-bit PC. The setting are all on default. There is only one audio stream and no subtitles. Any ideas on what I can do here or what settings will help? |

RE: No MKV audio
On the MKV TAB, uncheck the box that is disabling the DivX MF splitter
If the audio stream is DTS, it will never play on the xbox. On the Misc TAB, the button, [Analyze a media file], will tell you the exact contents of any media file. |

I tried to play it in Media Browser, but still no sound. Lastly, I tried to play it in TVersity and it had sound and great picture but it was constantly buffering. |

RE: No MKV audio
also know, only the 64bit Settings Application will affect playback.
The DivX MF splitter is disabled by default. It needs to be unchecked, to enable it. if it is still not working, on the Config TAB, uncheck the box that is disabling AC3Filter. |
