No subtitles in ffdshow
I've been fighting subtitle issues for a few days now with no luck, and hoping someone can help. All of my rips are H264 with embedded vobsubs. I'm configured to use Haali's splitter for MP4s and ffdshow for H264. When I set Subtitle Control to DirectVobSub, I get the tray icon on content with AC3 audio and subtitles work fine. However, contact with AAC audio does not present me with DirectVobSub control, and enabling subtitles within ffdshow does not work. Setting Subtitle Control to ffdshow has no effect. Within SWAP, I've tried both settings with regards to AAC audio to no avail.
I'm not running with Suggested settings as I get no AC3 audio when I enable it. UAC is enabled, and I have tried doing reset all/suggested settings and full uninstall/reinstalls of both W7 and 64 packages. |

I set H264 to use the MS codec just to continue testing different combinations, and upon doing so, I'm getting the ffdshow video, ffdshow audio, and directvobsub tray icons, and subtitles are working. Happy to have it working, but not sure what to make of this combination of settings having this effect. |

RE: No subtitles in ffdshow
My 1st guess would be that UAC was disabled but since this is not the case, I am just glad it's working.
