Recorded TV Subtitles
Hi Shark,
I did a fresh install of Win 7 HP32, installed your codec pack, used the recommended settings button and everything has worked just peachy. I use WMC7 exclusively for my entertainment and watch/record OTA channels with it. My question concerns the watched/recorded TV subtitles. I've been using the closed captioning settings in WMC to try and get a smaller, less obtrusive font for the subtitles. I have the font that I like but now the subtitles are horizontally in the middle of the screen and somewhat left justified. They also seem to be very limited on the number of characters per line. Are there any settings in your interface that will allow me to push them to the bottom of the screen, center them and use a much longer character count per line? Thanks for your reply! NOTE: Using Shark007 32bit version 3.6.2 Dell Inspiron 531S - Windows 7 HP32 SP1 - ATI Radeon HD5450 - Two USB Tuners - Mohu Leaf OTA - Use Windows Media Center exclusively. |

RE: Recorded TV Subtitles
I am pretty sure that the subtitles you are seeing are hard-coded into the video at the time of recording.
hard-coded = part of the video. being hard-coded, there is nothing that can affect their display. |

RE: Recorded TV Subtitles
Hi Shark,
Thanks for your quick reply! As long as I have them set at "As Broadcast" they sit centered at the bottom. As soon as I change one single setting they go center screen. Oh well... You win some and you lose some. Take care and keep up the good work!
