Sound issues with HDMI and Codecs
I have a HTPC connected to my Denon-2310 AVR, connected to my Samsung TV. I recently built a new HTPC(windows 7 64-bit) with a gigabyte motherboard using the Intel HD3000 onboard hdmi. Most things work fine using Shark007s codec packs, however i have one large issue. When i close media center and want to watch a youtube video or listen to pandora, no sound is outputted from my htpc. On the HTPC, the mixer shows volume is being sent, but the receiver does not produce any sound.
UAC Enabled Current Shark007 settings. (32bit and x64) All default except. No subtitles Enable bitstreaming(selects same as input for # of speakers) Bitstreaming and LiveTV work fine, it just seems that when it switches from DTS to what needs to be stereo, the switch doesn't occur. Any tips would be appreciated. thanks, -bill |
