Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hello

I am watching a mkv movie (and have others) that is an english movie but has foreign language parts. How do i get WMC7 to play the foreign parts. Shark007 32 bit and 64bit are defaulted to directvobsub.

in the 64bit app, H264 TAB, select the Microsoft decoder.

i tried this and it didnt work. the movie stop playing all together, i had to switch back to Lav splitter for it to work (ie. for the movie to play, but still no subtitles)

should i use shark007 recommended settings?

where are the subtitles?
external file? is it named as such... movie.mkv / movie.srt

Internal?
on the Misc TAB is a button to [Analyze a media file]

The subtitles are in the file. The file is named movie.mkv

When my wife lets me, i will past the output here.

I've just tested several mkv files that contain internal subtitles and they work as expected when the Microsoft decoder is selected on the H264 TAB. You should verify this setting in the 64bit app.

everything looks proper.

when you play this file in Media Center, does a green arrow appear in the systray? (near the clock?)
If so, you should be able to rightclick it and select the subtitle language you prefer
