Subtitles control radio buttons

Hi Sharks,
Why do we still have 2 radio buttons FFDshow /External and FFDshow /Embedded for subtitles control ?
By the way, editor name is not reported correctly in the add/remove program dialog, only with the x86 pack, I'm using a French windows 7 x64.

because in my testing, you still do not get full functioning ffdshow subtitles without the 2 separate choices. i don't know why this is, but it is a fact.

I am aware of the bug about the author name in the control panel but am having difficulty correcting it and spending time on solving it is pretty well near the last thing I am willing to spend time on correcting.
