Is it recommended to tick Suggested Settings on both Win7codecs and x64components?

Googling that dll it says something about media foundation. Does these codecs modify that file in any way when you check suggested settings? |

RE: Suggested settings
It can cause problems with LiveTV and this is the reason you are asked if you use LiveTV.
If you were to answer YES to that question, the file would not get renamed. On a 64bit system, only the 64bit version of this file gets used. so in the 32bit app, on a 64bit system, you are not asked the question. |
