TV Tuner
Loved this codec package on my Windows 7 64bit. It made films look better and playing fLAC audio in wmp12 64BIT was great. Had to uninstall this and Windows 7 pack because it made Windows Media Center search for my my ATI Pro550 PCI TV tuner before tuning into live TV, but only the first time after turning the computer on (and everytime I booted up). This took only a minute or so, but it annoyed me, being the stickler that I am about my computer. After uninstalling both codec packs, the problem went away. Could not figure out what settings caused this.
Would really like to reinstall. Can anyone help. Thanks Ogre |

RE: TV Tuner
Possibly . . . the haali media splitter (installed by my package) is affecting it. On the MISC TAB is a button to disable Haali.
If UAC is turned OFF, please uninstall my software
Default UAC settings are required for my software to function properly |

Thanks Ogre I don't know why or exactly what I changed yesterday in the settings panels of both 32 and 64 bit, but I re-enabled the haali media splitter in the MISC Tab and it stopped searching for my TV Tuner when I started up today. So all is working great so far and really want to thank you for your great work, especially since movies look better in WM now. |

RE: TV Tuner
I'm also having this same problem. Each time when starting the computer and then clicking on Live TV, WMC has to search for the tuner. After it does this, everything is good if I then close Live TV and then open it again. That is until I reboot the computer. Then this process starts all over again when going to Live TV and having it search for the tuner again. Never had this issue until installing this pack (currently using 236/240). This happens either with stock settings or using the suggested settings.

RE: TV Tuner
I really wish I could assist with troubleshooting but I do not own a tuner.
My hardware is quite lame. Until just 6 months ago, I was still using a CRT monitor! If UAC is turned OFF, please uninstall my software

RE: TV Tuner
I just did as suggested and disabled Haali in the Misc tab on both the 32 and 64 bit sections. I then rebooted, turned on the tv tuner through WMC and this time it did not search for the TV tuner. I'll have to monitor this to see if it's fixed for good.
Now though, I don't know what's now going to be effected by disabling Haali. Any ideas what that might be? |

RE: TV Tuner
On the MPG~MP4 TAB, set the Gabest blu-ray splitter.
That setting automatically takes care of some other changes. Everything else should be fine. Please let me know if you run into any problems. I may consider this a new default setting. If UAC is turned OFF, please uninstall my software
