This utility must reside in the Tools folder to function.
I have been having this problem a while, and it has kept me from upgrading my codecs to the newer versions for some time. I have Windows 7 64 bit, and the x64 components uninstalled for a while, but I could not uninstall the win7codecs after that, even though the settings32.exe file is in the Tools folder.
A popup message appears when I try to run settings32.exe and yes it is in the Tools folder. installation location This utility must reside in the Tools folder to function. I would appreciate help in resolving this. Thanks in advance. Lawrence C. |

Once you realize that the use of registry cleaners is breaking your system you'll be able to stop using this uninstall hack.
Next time you feel the need to clean, do some laundry. At least you will have actually cleaned something that was dirty. |
