[Reset All] will re-instate LAV as the default audio decoder.
The normalization setting is a feature of FFDshow.
Most Audio TAB settings are for FFDshow - to access LAV settings you need to click the [setup LAV audio] button.

For ffdshow passthrough, if selected on the Audio TAB, you would then need to go to the Config TAB and click the [FFDshow Audio config] button,
scroll the leftside and highlight Output, and de-select the HD formats.
