Thanks. I followed that link down a few rabbit holes, maybe not perfectly, so i'll go back through it again. I was able to get it to "work" at first. I'd play a MKV, MCP would pop in as expected, but if i brought up MCP again using alt ctrl G, and click on the audio stream or other button Win7 dialog box pops up and says WMC has been stopped or needs to shut down or something and WMC restarts itself. I know you don't need to support WCP (or even all the SHARK support), but any ideas for me for when i get home? Will disabling the Microsoft vid decoder or any of this other stuff break live TV? Also, if I got the Shark packages last week, do i have the latest FFDshow? or do i/should i update? Is it safe to update or will it break some Shark settings? I'm going to pump some more money in now... I've never heard of this type of support for a free package before... wild. |
