Are you using Nvidia?
The nVidia WHQL release 285.62 can cause these problems.

go HERE and find 290.36 - BETA drivers for your GPU

do not get 295.51 or 290.53 - both of these have issues of thier own.

Nope, I don't think so anyway. It's INTEL on board stuff from a Gigabyte MB running an i3 chip.
In the SWAP tab, I choose the FFD option every place I could (to try to get compatibility with MCP stream switching, (but leave the section that would break live TV alone) and everything seems to work ok except these AVIs. if I go back to "reset all" and only a few other changes, everything works, but no i don't get much use of the MCP.
