I can appreciate your recommendation but unfortunately I'm not ready to upgrade to Windows 7 and would probably get a new box when I am. So, I guess I'll stick with the inconvenience of minimizing WMC to pick my streams. Without MCP I can use either VobSub or FFDshow to acheive this.
