Video file extensions
#1
I use a Liteon player/recorder to change VCR tapes to CD/DVD.  Load properly and play on TV, but when copied to Windows 10 the files show up as VIDEO_RM.BUP and VIDEO_RM.DAT.  When open with Cyberlink Power DVD 12, it shows up as VIDEO_RM.IFO.  Others just note that it is not compatible. I assume I need additional codecs but not sure where to go to get the right ones.  Appreciate any suggestions.

go into the Video_TS folder.
try playing the Video_TS.VOB file.

If that doesnt play, installing my STANDARD_Codecs will make that file playable
