Don't use the SUGGESTED settings - I will fix it for the next release.

I have VCP 6.1.0 in XP MCE 2005 test and the error does not occur only in "Suggested settings"!

6.1.1 will be available soon - SUGGESTED settings are removed.
The box was supposed to be have been removed in 610 and I completely forgot about it.

Version 6.1.2 works properly with Vista Ultimate x86, only this XVID-Demo not runs.
In Windows XP MCE 2005:
   
At:
- MPG~MP4 -->Set MPEG2
- VC1 -->All
- H264 -->H264 codec in DirectShow Players
- Config -->Subtile Control

Testing in Vista64 using WMP 32bit
I pressed [Reset All] - the file plays OK.

Since WinXP has no default Microsoft decoder,
This replacement app, on WinXP only, will setup Cyberlink for decoding mpeg2 automatically.

The above setting32.exe don't works with XP MCE 2005 -->Error!
The setting32.exe of VCP 6.0.0 there are no errors and it runs almost everything.
In Vista also helps "Reset All" not with the Xvid Demo -->Error:

VCP 6.1.2 now runs on Vista x86 very well.
The Xvid error was due to a registry entry.
And here the VCP 6.1.2 settings with PowerDVD decoder:
   
If I want to use my VCP 6.1.2 Settings for WTV-HD, I need to disable this decoders:
   
By double clicking on the "MPG~MP4 -->Set MPEG2 to use FFDshow" these settings may be set automatically!?

Vista Codec Pack 6.2.0 for Vista is a disaster that is without PowerDVD 11 decoder is a total step backwards!
HD-TV in conjunction with TV Pack 2008 und VISTA SP2 no more is possible.
With XP there is at least in H264 -->LAV decoder still a mistake, but very better than v6.0.0 is not either.
It would be better would you bring to an end the support for XP and Vista, and us save a lot of work and aggravation!

Vista Codecs v6.2.1 works propely with Windows XP SP3.
Settings with FFDshow DXVA decoder:
