Vista x64 locking after watching vids
Ok, so, weird problem has been occurring.
After I'm done watching a video/movie (mkv, avi, divx, vob, doesn't matter) and I close the player window (either VLC or WMP) windows will lock. Not lock up as in freeze, but it's like pressing the Win + L keys to lock the machine. I have to re-enter my Win password to get back into Vista. The only reason I think it may have something to do with Shark is because I have it installed on both my desktop and laptop (which is also Vista x64). Anyone else run into this? It's more annoying that anything since the only way to get it to stop is to log out and log back in. It's been going on for a few months and I'm finally fed up with it. |

RE: Vista x64 locking after watching vids
Right, I understand that, but I'm trying to figure out why it (whatever "it" is) happens and possibly even how to prevent the screen from locking in the first place It's weird because it only happens after I've watched a video. Or if I pause the video, it'll do it.

RE: Vista x64 locking after watching vids
Although this information will not help you directly, I am hoping it offers some insight to the issue.
I have never encountered or heard of such a problem before. I suggest to you that it is some sort of setting or 'tweak' that you unknowingly enabled somehow. It is my opinioun 'it' is in no way related to my software or codecs in general. If UAC is turned OFF, please uninstall my software
