WMC and ActiveX webpage creates the error "Can not open the file"
I came across this error when running duel monitors. The secondary was using IE running an activeX based webcam. If I open the IEwebcam and then WMC everything is fine if I watch a single show/file. If I switch to a new show I get the "Can not open the file Windows Media Center can not open the file" error. I'm assuming the activeX interferes with the codec. I've recreated the error using Google Chrome's IEtab as well.
My solutions are to reset the codec via the awesome Shark007 program or to log off/on. |
