WMP loses audio when going to diff app (playing .ogg)

Hi

When I play an .ogg audio file in Windows Media Player, there is a lot of lag and disparity when switching to any other application (or even the Desktop)

Please fix this with your next release

I suggest changing the splitter on the MOV~OGG TAB.

are you using the x64 version of WMP?

If so, switch to using the x86 version because
x64 codecs are not totally on par with thier 32bit counterparts and you will get better performance frm 32bit.

I think you're due for some hardware upgrades or at the very minimum, a clean install of the Operating System.

Case: Antec P182
CPU: Quad Core CPU (Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz)
Graphics Card: NVidia 8800GTS 512MB
Motherboard: ASUS P5K-E WiFi
OS (There are 5 others): Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit Edition
Power-Supply: T.P.3 Trio Antec True Power 3 Trio PSU
RAM: 4GB of Transcend 800 (2x2GB sticks)
Speakers: Altec Lansing VS4121

Although my computer may be a couple of years old, it shouldn't be the cause of any of these problems.

Please fix this issue.

your harware is certainly not a problem.
What you fail to understand is the issue is your problem.
It is not widespread being experienced by all users.
I cannot reproduce the issue.

have you defragged yor hdd lately?
