The file analysed below renders, but with no sound. The machine is running Vista Ultimate x32. Shark007 is Version 6, fresh install. Any ideas?

WMV files do not use my codecs. They use Windows installed codecs.
Try installing THIS UPDATE from Microsoft.

I tried to install this, but it said, "This update does not apply to your system".

I'll keep rooting around, see if I can come up with something.
