Windows Media Center and Xbox 360
ive got Vista home premium 64 bit and have never had issues playing videos in media player (I use k-lite codecs). When trying to get WMC to work on xbox I discovered the Shark007 codecs and installed both the 32 and the 64 and selected the Shark's suggested settings.
Before I did that I couldn't see thumbnails but now I see all of the thumbnails (divx, xvid, h264, mkv) but NOTHING plays. out of the hundreds of movies I have only some archaic .avi without compression plays. I can play everything on my PC in WMC, just not on the xbox. am I missing something blatantly obvious? |

RE: Windows Media Center and Xbox 360
The Vista Codec Package is a PC playback solution.
I do not own an xbox and am incapable of advising you with its usage. |
