XP DVD Windows Media Player...
I have installed the latest Shark codec pack on XP Pro SP3 and am having trouble getting Windows Media Player to play a DVD movie. What settings do I need to select for this to work? After reading on the forums I have selected "Set MPEG to use FFDShow" under the MPEG~TV tab and I have unchecked "set the merit of FFDShow to normal" under the H264 tab. WMP seems to open and I see the red FFa icon the system tray but not the blue video icon. Am i doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: XP DVD Windows Media Player...
the red ffdshow icon = video
the blue ffdshow icon = audio For DVD playback, select the PDVD decoder. |

When I log in as a second user (with admin rights) it has the same settings in the settings application but the DVD will not play. WMP just closes when I click on play. Do I need to do something special to get it to work for a second user? |

RE: XP DVD Windows Media Player...
even though it is already selected, click on the PDVD selection from the second user.

RE: XP DVD Windows Media Player...
try pressing [Reset All] and then making the PDVD selection.
