album artwork of my music collection
Hi,
I am using windows 7 ultimate sp1 recently i moved my music collection some mp3 and m4a files from one folder to another. This is where the problem started for me i organize my music very well as they look beautiful with artwork i even add some missing details by tag & rename. Before the artwork used to be fine now i dont see artwork for many songs and they do appear when i play them in mediaplayer but they do not show up in windows explorer. How to solve this issue please help me.i just moved the folders from F:/ to D:/ drive. Now it's a pain to start all over again. I have added the album art few files using tag&rename software and also by itunes and some files are downloaded from itunes.the album artwork exists on the file it shows when i play in itunes or in windows media player.but when i open in windows explorer i cant see the artwork. Here are screenshot of the thumbnail image pictures ![]() http://www.screenshots.cc/show/58921/mpmb3 http://www.screenshots.cc/show/58922/ynxz7 http://www.screenshots.cc/show/58923/8637k Please suggest any fix Thank you in advance |

I fixed the problem as it was mainly due to corrupted registry for some strange reason.i imported the .mp3 dile extension key from registry and opened it using notepad and replaced all .mp3 extension with .m4a and saved it as .m4a.reg and run it and had to do a system restart after that thumbnails again started showing up in windows explorer as normal.such as in the below screenshot ![]() Before when corrupted they used to appear this way as i installed vlc the problem started out ![]() (03-19-2012 11:12 AM)Shark007 Wrote: use the [Windows Filetype Associations] button on the Help TAB Thank you very much for quick reply hope this helps someone who are struggling with same problem hope they find answer in your forum
