beta status

Icaros 1.3.1, is it implemented in Win7codecs 3.3.8 ? I want to know is it beta or final because I don't like beta and I always use final .

If you call someting final, it would mean you cannot improve it.

For instance, I recently bought a standalone blu-ray player.
Since this was for sale to the masses you would have to consider it a 'final' version.
yet, upon 1st use, it didnt handle HD audio properly. It has a cat5 connector.
When I connected it to my home network, the device found an update, installed it, and HD audio worked properly.
Did they sell me a beta product? No. They improved the product with an update.

At this time, the LAV filters are quite popular even though it is not even considered a 1.0 product.
In fact, I read somewhere that the author considers the product Alpha.

If you feel Windows itself to be a 'final' product, why does Microsoft continually releases updates to improve the product.
How can you consider it final when the updates are endless?

Bottom line to my story, Mother earth is the only real thing in this world that is 'final'.
