cannot uninstall for installing the newer version
hi i am using windows 7 ultimate 64bit OS and i installed your version 3.6.0 and x64 components downloaded from your website a few weeks ago. as i have to uninstall the previous version to install the new version 3.6.1, i tried to open all program-shark 007 codecs-uninstall windows 7 codecs, x64 components in administrator mode but i got a message window saying "this utility requires an official installation to function properly" a few seconds later it disappears and shows a new message window showing "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel". when i try to open the settings application,x64 it shows the same messages. im unable uninstall your product. please help me with this. how can i make the windows media playerx64 as default and how to select media center x64. thanks.

That failing, try re-installing the same versions and do not let a registry cleaner break your system like that. You can select the 64bit WMP as default on the 64bit Config TAB USe the button on the Help TAB to associate filetypes to the Windows players |

hi there, thanks for the reply. so are you saying that i must install version 3.6(the already installed version) again, uninstall it and then install 3.6.1. i have used all other codec packs like klite, windows essentials, windows 7 codec pack and media player codec but none of them had any problems from my registry cleaners and its sad to see that your packs gets affected as your pack has impressed me than the above mentioned ones. can you find a solution for this registry cleaner issues. it will be much appreciated.
