ffdshow for AVI instead of
I would like to use ffdshow as codec to get subtitles and to make use of media control. After some trial and error I got it working as desired for MKV. However AVI is still rendered using another codec (usually LAV). I selected Hali splitter and ffdshow wherever possible in the settings. How do I change that behaviour?

RE: ffdshow for AVI instead of
If you are using Windows 7 x64, could it be the "bug" in the Settings under "Config -->FFDshow Video config":
X64_359_Video_Codecs_Xvid.jpg (Size: 149.58 KB / Downloads: 138)
Set to "libavcodec"! Here are my full FFDshow-DXVA-Settings. AMD A6-3650 with HD6530 graphics * XP MCE 2005, Windows 7 x86 + x64 + 8 x64 * PowerDVD 12 + 13 |
