hardware Acceleration

I saw the active decoder is <inactive> in H.246 tab, is it correct? did I had set my hardware Acceleration on?

my is ATI card, so I set DXVA2(native), it show available in right

available = if the file being played contains the proper encoding, it will be used
inactive = not in use

Not all video formats use hardware acceleration. Most common are H264 and VC-1 codes. E.g. Xvid encoded AVI files are not accelerated.
