is it possible to do bitstreaming from optical
Hi I'm after solutions to achieve audio pass through under Windows
Basically I bought a cheap Creative USB sound card which has optical input enabled. I want to pass the digital audio from something like Apple TV optical through the creative USB soundcard and send it to my BOSE C5 Is it possible to do with Shark007 Thanks a lot Regards RW |

RE: is it possible to do bitstreaming from optical
My software supports optical bitstreaming but the audio source would need to be PC based so it can be processed, not from an external source.
I dont see the point of sending anything to the PC- Go direct from your AppleTV to the audio receiver. |

RE: is it possible to do bitstreaming from optical
Windows 7 can not directly use an input, this is only possible via the recording function of the sound card.
Here is an example of how this works with my Realtek sound card about "listening": AMD A6-3650 with HD6530 graphics * XP MCE 2005, Windows 7 x86 + x64 + 8 x64 * PowerDVD 12 + 13 |
