.mkv playback issues
I reformatted my comp in the weekend, fresh install of win 7 32bit and the latest sharks codec pack installed and using the shark rrecommended settings etc.
However when I play an mkv file over the network as I have my movie files stored on another computer, I get really bad stuttering and juttering that is of video and audio. If I pause the movie for a while, it'll play fine for a few minutes then will jutter and stutter again and then I'll pause it and then it'll do the same thing etc. Copying the movie locally and playing it on a usb stick or off the local computer is fine. Have updated my graphics driver but issue still occurs. Prior to reformatting comp, mkv's were playing fine over the network, no issues, playback was smooth. I'm guessing that I may not have the correct settings checked for the codec pack but I don't remember having to change anything last time, using the recommended settings was ok. Does anyone have any ideas? It's driving me nuts so any help would be appreciated. |
